Class Description
This class has evolved from the work of Joseph H. Pilates. The Pilates Mat work emphasizes a balance between strength and flexibility. Concentration on the muscles of the abdominals and back creates benefits such as improved posture, core strength, breath control, body awareness, and flexibility. This class can be modified for all levels, from beginners through advanced students. Private sessions using both the mat and the Pilates equipment are available by appointment.
